three-stars

Are you bored of seeing Spider-Man fight robots built specifically to exploit his weaknesses and kill him and still manage to defeat them every time? Well, what if i told you there were TWO robots in this issue? Another 12 cents in the bank.

Professor Stromm, a mad scientist, has been let out of prison, and he immediately starts building robots to destroy his enemy’s company and wreak vengeance. Spider-Man gets in the way a few times and it turns out the target of the attacks is Normal Osborn, who stole Professor Stromm’s research and then had him falsely imprisoned. Oh.

Of course the robots are no match for Spider-Man, who knows that robots’ fatal flaw is that if you drop them on the floor they will break. Professor Stromm goes back to prison, and Pete is left wondering why Mr. Osborn didn’t seem to want his help. Almost as if he was… evil? Perhaps???
